Can Wigs Be Dyed?
Yes. For optimal results and to maintain the integrity of the hair, we strongly recommend having your hair colored by a professional stylist. A professional can ensure that the dye is applied evenly, choose the right color and formula for the hair type, and minimize any potential damage. Trust a professional to bring your desired color to life with precision and care.
Are your wigs human hair?
Our wigs are crafted from 100% genuine human hair. To verify the authenticity of human hair in a wig, you can use these simple tests:
- Burn Test: Take a small strand of the wig's hair and light it with a lighter. Genuine human hair will emit a smell similar to burnt protein and turn to ash when you crush it between your fingers.
- Texture Test: Slide your fingers along a strand of hair from the root to the tip; it should feel smooth and silky. However, if you move your fingers in the opposite direction, from the tip to the root, the texture will feel slightly rougher and drier. These methods help confirm the natural qualities of human hair in our wigs.
Does the wig look the same as the pictures on the website? Do I need to style it myself to achieve the look from the photos?
Yes. All of our wigs unless otherwise stated come in the color 1B and are as depicted in the pictures. Wigs have been flat ironed. We recommend you wash and style your wig upon receipt. Packaging and shipping flattens the wave patterns and hair must be styled accordingly.
How do I install my wig?
Installing Your Wig in Three Easy Steps:
- Position the wig comfortably on your head.
- Fasten it in place using the built-in combs, adjustable straps, or elastic bands to ensure a secure fit.
- For lace wigs, trim any excess lace around the hairline.
